I'm wondering who uses these Probiotic drinks and if they are actually beneficial for digestive / immune system health above that which our great diets might already provide for?

I dont know a lot about the benefits of probiotic bacteria products, its something which I've always ignored. I have seen articles citing research on increase incidences of some forms of cancer and other health problems like obesity correlating with loss of a particular symbiotic bacteria in the gut. But I dont know how one would come to losing such bacteria - perhaps with use of antibiotics is one example. So there may be CERTAIN times when SOME people might benefit from taking these products for a SHORT duration. I cant imagine how it is that everyone could benefit from taking these things all the time when a good diet already provides the same bacteria and their PREbiotics. But there wouldn't be a market without the marketing.
I'm taking a probiotic multivit at the moment and feeling little difference.
Is that little as in non? I'm taking Reflex's Nexgen which has probiotics. I think the product itself is fantastic but could do without this part if it helps to make it cheaper.
