Thumscrew Pinch: HG100 X 3 X 15 sec holds
Was brutally owned by a non grip-guy on Friday night on the thumbscrew pinch (HG100 closed easily) which proves there's loads of work ahead here for me! |

Nah, it's a "Mash Monster" (Title given to those who certify) Level 0 cert - of which I'm still awaiting judgement.
Mash Monster certification is promoted through GripBoard.com. Those who intend to certify have to start at the bottom of the ladder at MM0 Level which is a gripster owned CoC#3 close shown on video. MM1 levels and upwards are special Beef Builder cert grippers which are sent out to individuals worldwide determined by an application list.
The certification was brought about to allow people to certify on grippers which offer more resistance than the typical #3 since the #4 (which was once the next step) was a huge step. The MM0 is simply the entry level to prove that you can indeed close the #3 and that's what I've done today.
Just awaiting judgement, then if I'm certified I begin my climb!

It's not the easiest certification by any means. I just got my head around things today.
The Mash Monster certification only requires a parallel set so this allows participants to work with heavier grippers.
Though my ROM is generally wide anyways, I'm still yet to CCS my #3 which is a requirement of official certification through Ironmind using a brand new gripper unpackaged by an official in person so I have to be 100% confident before I arrange it! |
